In John 11:1-45, Mary and Martha are waiting for their friend and teacher Jesus. They are waiting for him to come because their brother, Lazarus, has died, and they desperately need Jesus. In the wilderness of Lent, we too wait for Jesus. But, what is it we are waiting for Jesus to do?
